This notice explains how The Hair Extensions Expert, LLC handles information connected with this salon website and inquiries to Lauren. Purchases through our Shopify store are also covered by the store Privacy Policy.

Information you share

When you email, text, call, or request a consultation, you may share your name, contact details, hair preferences, photographs, and appointment questions. We use the information you provide to respond, plan your service, and manage our relationship with you. Please do not send payment card details or other sensitive information by ordinary email or text.

Website visits, cookies, and images

We have not added advertising pixels, optional analytics, a newsletter form, or marketing pop-ups to this salon website. Our hosting and delivery providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser information, requested pages, and security logs to deliver and protect the site. Some product images load from Shopify’s image servers, which receive the technical information needed to deliver those images.

The salon website’s own code does not set tracking cookies or store visitor profiles. The hosting service may use storage needed for access or security. Browser settings let you manage cookies and local storage, although blocking necessary storage can affect access. We do not use this salon website’s own code to track you across websites, and it does not change its behavior in response to Do Not Track signals.

Shopping and booking on other services

Shopping links take you to Shopify, and booking links take you to Vagaro. Those services collect information necessary for their features and have their own cookies and privacy controls. Review the Shopify store Privacy Policy and Vagaro Privacy Policy when using them. You can also visit the store’s data-sharing opt-out page. Social media and map links open separate services governed by their own notices.

How information is shared and kept

Information may be processed by providers that help with hosting, communications, scheduling, payments, and order fulfillment. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect legal rights. Information is kept as needed to respond to your request, provide services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Provider retention practices may also apply. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Your choices and requests

Sending a question does not sign you up for a marketing email list. If you separately subscribe to marketing emails, you can use their unsubscribe link. Service or order messages may still be sent when needed. Contact Lauren to ask about information you have shared, request corrections or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity, and legal recordkeeping requirements may limit deletion. Rights and response requirements depend on applicable law.
