About these terms
These Terms of Service apply to the website, online store, purchases, and salon services offered by The Hair Extensions Expert, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). Please read them before placing an order or booking an appointment. Our online store is hosted by Shopify, and online appointment booking is provided through Vagaro. Your purchases and appointments are subject to these terms and the applicable policies presented to you.
Using our website and store
Please provide accurate contact, billing, shipping, and booking information and use only payment methods you are authorized to use. You must have the legal capacity to enter into a purchase or service agreement. Keep any account login details secure and contact us if you believe your account has been used without permission.
You may not use our website for unlawful activity, fraud, harassment, unauthorized access, or distributing malicious software, or interfere with its operation or another person's rights.
Appointments and service pricing
Appointments are subject to availability and confirmation. Service prices marked with a plus sign are starting prices. Your final service plan and price depend on your hair, the method selected, the amount of hair required, and the work involved, and will be discussed before the service. A consultation or website inquiry does not guarantee that a particular method is suitable for you.
Cancellations and no shows
Please provide at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations within 48 hours incur a fee of 50% of the appointment price. Missed appointments without notice are charged 100% of the appointment price. Contact Lauren at (925) 200-8197 if you need help with your appointment.
Hair extensions, toppers, and installation
All hair extension and topper purchases and installation services are final sale and non-refundable, except where required by law. This applies to both the hair or topper itself and the installation service. If you have a concern about your purchase or service, please contact us so we can review it with you. This policy does not remove rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
Results and maintenance needs vary with your natural hair, the selected method, and your home care. Please follow the care and maintenance guidance provided and let us know about relevant sensitivities or hair and scalp concerns before your service. Photographs illustrate individual results and do not guarantee an identical result.
Online orders and payments
Product availability and prices may change before you place an order. Product prices are listed in US dollars unless otherwise indicated. Applicable taxes and shipping charges are shown at checkout before payment. Please review your order and delivery details before submitting it.
If an item is unavailable or an order contains a pricing or description error, or we reasonably suspect fraud, we may contact you to resolve the issue or cancel the affected order. We will notify you and refund any payment collected for an item we cannot supply. We will not charge a higher corrected price without your agreement. Contact us promptly if you need to change or cancel an order; changes may not be possible once it has been fulfilled.
Shipping and salon pickup
Available delivery and pickup options, charges, and estimates are displayed at checkout. Please review our Shipping Policy for processing times, shipping options, and pickup instructions. Carrier delivery estimates are not guaranteed arrival dates. Contact us if your order is delayed, missing, or damaged so we can help resolve the issue. Nothing in these terms limits any shipping or cancellation rights provided by law.
Retail returns and refunds
For eligible retail products, please request a return within 14 days of delivery or salon pickup. Products must be unopened, unused, and in their original packaging with original seals intact, including Nutrafol supplements. Contact us before mailing or bringing back an item.
For change of mind returns, customers pay return postage or may arrange a free salon drop off. Approved refunds go to the original payment method. Original shipping charges are not refundable for change of mind returns, and there is no restocking fee. We do not deduct the original free shipping benefit if a return brings an eligible order below three items. Damaged, defective, or incorrect items are handled separately, with an appropriate replacement or refund and any necessary shipping costs covered. See our Return and Refund Policy for full details. The separate final sale policy above applies to extensions, toppers, and installation services.
Product information and personal results
We aim to describe products and services accurately, but screen settings can affect how colors appear. Follow product labels, instructions, and warnings. Website content and salon recommendations are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Questions about hair loss, supplements, allergies, or a medical condition should be discussed with a qualified healthcare professional. Individual results vary.
Photographs and other website content
Photographs, text, logos, and other content belong to The Hair Extensions Expert, LLC or their respective owners and licensors. You may view our website for personal use. Reproducing, distributing, or commercially using protected content requires permission from the appropriate rights holder, except where permitted by law. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of your photographs or other materials to us.
Privacy and third party services
For information about this salon website and inquiries, read our Privacy & Cookies notice. For information about personal information collected through our Shopify store, please read the store's Privacy Policy. When you use Vagaro or follow links to other services, their own terms and privacy notices also apply to their services. The Hair Extensions Expert, LLC is the seller of products and provider of salon services; Shopify provides the store platform, and Vagaro provides the booking platform.

Availability and your legal rights
We work to keep our websites accurate and available, but occasional errors, interruptions, or maintenance may occur. Please contact us if a problem affects your order or booking. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any consumer guarantee, warranty, liability, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Changes and resolving concerns
We may update these terms by posting a revised version with an updated date. Changes apply prospectively and do not retroactively change the terms of an existing purchase or confirmed appointment without your agreement or a legal requirement. Where additional notice or consent is required by law, we will provide it.
These terms are governed by California law and applicable federal law, without depriving you of mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Please contact us with any concern so we can try to resolve it. Doing so does not restrict your right to seek other remedies. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
